With the help of local media coverage and other investigation, a juvenile male suspect was identified very quickly. On 12-10-17, "Porch Pirate" thefts were reported in the north east Banning Lewis Ranch neighborhood. These are thefts where victims have packages delivered to their homes and then the parcels are stolen. Juvenile Porch Pirate During the past few weeks, the Colorado Springs Police Department has been advised of several "Porch Pirate" thefts. Two of the three occupants of the victim vehicle were struck and sustained minor injuries.
Investigation revealed that three adults were stopped in their vehicle when an unknown suspect pulled up alongside them in a dark SUV and fired multiple gunshots at them. Armed Robbery At 7:16 PM Stetson Hills officers were dispatched to the Subway Sandwich shop located in the 3400 block of North Academy Blvd for a robbery.
